Rytel, Piotr
Rytel, Piotr , Polish composer and teacher; b. Vilnius, Sept. 20, 1884; d. Warsaw, Jan. 2, 1970. He studied with Michalowski and Noskowski at the Warsaw Cons. In 1911, was appointed a prof. of piano, and in 1918 a prof. of harmony there. He was director of the Sopot State Coll. of Music (1956–61).
