Říhovský, Vojtěch
Říhovský, Vojtěch , Czech choirmaster and composer; b. Dub na Moravě, April 21, 1871; d. Prague, Sept. 15, 1950. He was trained in Prague at the Organ School, the Jan Ludvík Singing Inst., and the Arnošt Černý Music Inst. (1887–92). He served as a choirmaster in Dub na Moravě (1892–1902), Chrudim (1902–14), and at St. Ludmila in Prague (1914–36). He composed some 300 sacred works, as well as secular vocal works and instrumental pieces.
