Rampini, Domenico
Rampini, Domenico , Italian composer; b. Friuli province, c. 1765; d. Trieste, Dec. 19, 1816. He was harpsichordist at the theater of S. Samuele in Venice in 1791. He then settled in Trieste, where he was harpsichordist at the theater of S. Pietro from 1792 to 1801, and then was maestro di cappella at the Teatro Nuovo from 1801 until about 1813. He also served as maestro di cappella at the Cathedral.

OTHER : Requiem (1808) and other sacred pieces.
