Radica, Ruben
Radica, Ruben , Croatian composer and teacher; b. Split, May 19, 1931. He studied with Kelemen in Zagreb, Frazzi in Siena, and Leibowitz in Paris. In 1963 he was appointed to the faculty of the Zagreb Academy of Music, serving as its dean (1981–85). He belongs to the avant-garde of Slovenian music; in 1961 he adopted the 12-tone method of composition.
