Perini, Annibale

Perini, Annibale , Italian organist and compoer; b. c. 1560; d. Graz, 1596. He was active in Venice before settling in Graz about 1575. In 1579 he was made organist at the court chapel of Archduke Karl II, who made it possible for him to complete his musical training. After serving as organist at the Graz evangelical collegiate church (1590–94), he resumed his post as Graz court chapel organist. Perini composed the Missa super Benedicite omnia opera Domini for 8 Voices and various motets.
