Peričič, Vlastimir , Serbian composer and musicologist; b. Vrsac, Dec. 7, 1927. He studied in Vienna with Uhi. He became active as a pedagogue in Belgrade, and pubi, manuals on harmony and form; also compiled a valuable reference work on Serbian composers, Muzi£ki Stvaraoci u Srbiji (Belgrade, 1969). Among his compositions were String Quartet (1950), Symphonic Movement (Belgrade, Oct. 14, 1952), Fantasia quasi una sonata for Violin and Piano (1954), Sinfonietta for Strings (Zagreb, Nov. 13, 1957), and piano pieces.
