Pari, Claudio, Italian composer of Burgundian birth who flourished in the early 17th century. He was active in Sicily, garnering a reputation as one of the finest madrigalists of his time. He publ. 5 vols, of madrigals, 3 of which are extant (1611, 1617, 1619).
