Pálsson, Páll (Pampichler)
Pálsson, Páll (Pampichler), Icelandic composer and conductor; b. Graz (of Icelandic parents), May 9, 1928. He studied with Michl, Mixa, and Brugger in Graz and conducting at the Hamburg Hochschule für Musik (1959–60). He was active as a conductor in Reykjavik, where he led both choral and instrumental ensembles.
