Nenov, Dimiter
Nenov, Dimiter, Bulgarian composer, pianist, and teacher; b. Razgrad, Jan. 1, 1902; d. Sofia, Aug. 30, 1953. He went to Dresden to study architecture at the Technische Hochschule and piano with Feling and composition with Blumer and Bitner at the Cons. After working as an architect, he continued his studies with Petri in Zakopane (1931) and attended the Bologna Cons. (1932). He taught piano in Sofia (1930–33), then at the State Academy of Music there (1933–35), where he later was made a reader (1937) and a prof. (1943).
