Malanotte (-Montresor), Adelaide

Malanotte (-Montresor), Adelaide, Italian contralto; b. Verona, 1785; d. Salo, Dec. 31, 1832. She made her debut in 1806 in Verona. She created the title role in Rossini’s Tancredi in Venice at the Teatro La Fenice in 1813. She retired from the stage in 1821.
