Glodeanu, Liviu, Romanian composer; b. Dârja, Aug. 6, 1938; d. Bucharest, March 31, 1978. He studied at the Cluj Cons, and the Bucharest Cons., his principal teachers being Comes, Negrea, and Mendelsohn. In his music, he respected Romanian musical tradition while subtly employing modern means of expression.
