Freundt, Cornelius
Freundt, Cornelius, German organist and composer; b. Plauen, c. 1535; d. Zwickau (buried), Aug. 26, 1591. After serving as a cantor in Borna, he went to Zwickau and became cantor of St. Marien in 1565. He also was active as an organist and teacher. He wrote music for church and school use.
