Deane, Raymond
Deane, Raymond , Irish composer and pianist; b. Dublin, Jan. 27, 1953. He studied at Univ. Coll., Dublin (graduated, 1974) before pursuing training in composition with Stockhausen and Yun in Cologne and Berlin (1974–79). After teaching composition in Oldenburg (1984–87) and Paris (1990–94), he returned to Dublin as a composer and pianist.
