Colla, Giuseppe
Colla, Giuseppe, Italian composer; b. Parma, Aug. 4, 1731?; d. there, March 16, 1806. He was maestro di cappella at the court of Duke Ferdinand of Parma (from 1766), where he also engaged in teaching. In 1780 he married Lucrezia Aguiari, who sang in his operas in Italy, Paris, and London.
