Brun, Fritz
Brun, Fritz, Swiss conductor, teacher, and composer; b. Lucerne, Aug. 18, 1878; d. Grosshochstetten, Nov. 29, 1959. He studied in Lucerne (1892–95) and at Cologne (1896–1901), then settled in Bern (1909), where he taught at the Cons, and conducted the Bern Sym. Orch. until 1943.
