Bllghici, Dumitru
Bllghici, Dumitru, Romanian composer; b. Ia§i, Nov. 14, 1921. He received initial training at the Iaşi Cons. (1935–38), and later studied at the Leningrad Cons. (1950–55), where his teachers included Schnittke and Arapov. In 1955 he joined the faculty of the Bucharest Cons. In 1988 he went to Jerusalem, where he was active as a teacher and composer.
