Bertrand, Antoine de

Bertrand, Antoine de, French composer; b. Fon-tanges, between 1530 and 1540; d. Toulouse, between 1580 and 1582. He settled in Toulouse about 1560, where he became associated with the Ronsardist poets. He later was influenced by the Jesuits.
