Aspa, Mario
Aspa, Mario, Italian composer; b. Messina, Oct. 17, 1797; d. there, Dec. 14, 1868. He was a student of Zingarelli in Naples. He composed over 40 operas, the most successful being Paolo e Virginia (Rome, April 29, 1843) and II Muratore di Napoli (Naples, Oct. 16, 1850).
