Wrongfully Accused
Wrongfully Accused ★½ 1998 (PG-13)
Yet another Nielsen spoof, with “The Fugitive” (along with several other movies) the target this time around. He's violinist Ryan Harrison who has a tryst with socialite Lauren Goodhue (Le Brock) and then gets convicted of her husband Hibbing's (York) murder. Harrison escapes, determined to find the actual killer—the one-armed, one-legged, and one-eyed man—while being hunted by Marshal Fergus Falls (Crenna). This is one genre that's definitely had its day, with more clunkers than chuckles. 85m/C VHS, DVD . Leslie Nielsen, Richard Crenna, Kelly Le Brock, Melinda McGraw, Michael York, Sandra Bernhard; D: Pat Proft; W: Pat Proft; C: Glen Mac-Pherson; M: Bill Conti.
