Reckless 1995
Reckless ★★ 1995 (PG-13)
Rachel (Farrow) thinks she has a happy marriage and family but her husband (Goldwyn) informs her that he's hired a hit man to kill her. This startling revelation sends her on a 15year journey in which she meets many other people who are not what they seem. Rene and Lucas go for an ultrastylized fable theme, exploring Rachel's (and America's) aversion to dealing with the world as it really is. Quirky characters and situations are at turns amusing and annoying. Adapted by Lucas from his own play. 91m/C VHS . Mia Farrow, Scott Glenn, MaryLouise Parker, Tony Goldwyn, Stephen Dorff, Eileen Brennan, Giancarlo Esposito, Deborah Rush; D: Norman Rene; W: Craig Lucas; C: Frederick Elmes; M: Stephen Endelman.
