Berlin medical researcher Stefan Hein (Wlaschiha) is attending an AIDS conference in San Francisco just as a serial killer is targeting men who are HIV positive. Stefan also wants to investigate his late father's theory that U.S. researchers used prisoners to test a virus that created HIV by trying to find an alleged list of the injected prisoners.
