The Man in the Glass Booth
The Man in the Glass Booth ★★★ 1975 (PG)
In this adaptation of a play written by actor Robert Shaw, a successful Jewish businessman is suspected of being a Nazi war criminal. Loosely based on the life of death camp commandant Otto Adolf Eichmann, the film depicts the arrest and subsequent trial of the former Nazi by the Israelis. The film's title is derived from the fact that Eichmann sat in a glass booth during his trial. Schell's performance is outstanding. 117m/C VHS, DVD . Maximilian Schell, Lois Nettleton, Luther Adler, Lawrence Pressman, Henry Brown, Richard Rasof; D: Arthur Hiller; W: Edward Anhalt; C: Sam Leavitt.
