KLEIMAN, Ed. Canadian, b. 1932. Genres: Novellas/Short stories, Literary criticism and history. Career: University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, associate professor of English, 1961-96. Serves as judge at literary contests; gives public readings of his works, which have also been broadcast by Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Publications: Leonard Cohen: "Blossom Show" in The Artist and His Critics (casebook), 1976; The Immortals (stories), 1980; A New-Found Ecstasy (stories), 1988; The World Beaters (stories), 1998.
