James' Journey to Jerusalem
James' Journey to Jerusalem ★★ Massa'ot James Be'eretz Hakodesh 2003
Idealistic James (Shibe) is a young African Christian who is sent on a pilgrimage to the promised land of Zion. Only the promise starts out tarnished when the innocent is thrown into a Tel Aviv jail by a cynical immigration official who thinks he's just another illegal. James gets bailed out by shady businessman Shimi (Daw) to be used as cheap labor and he begins to learn—and work—the system, which leads James into some very secular temptation. English, Zulu, and Hebrew with subtitles. 87m/C DVD . Siyabonga Melongisi Shibe, Salim Dau, Arie Elias, Sandra Schonwald, Hugh Masebenza, Gregory Tal; D: Ra'anan Alexandrowicz; W: Ra'anan Alexandrowicz, Sami Duenias; C: Shark (Sharon) De Mayo; M: Ehud Banay.
