Former Scotland Yard detective Albert Tyburn (Eve) has been sent to work in Nairobi, Kenya in the hedonistic expatriate community of the 1930s, known as “Happy Valley.” But despite his disdain for the community's racial and social lines, Tyburn is soon involved in murder and mayhem.
