Early Leonard film (he'd later direct “The Great Ziegfield” and “Pride and Prejudice”) casts Shearer as a woman out to beat her husband at philandering. Married to a journalist, she cavorts with her husband's best friend and a discarded old flame as only a pre-production code gal could.
