Alligator 2: The Mutation
Alligator 2: The Mutation ★★ 1990 (PG-13)
Not a sequel to 1980's surprisingly good “Alligator,” but a bland rehash with a decent cast. Once again a toxic alligator grows to enormous size and menaces a community. A Donald-Trump-like villain and pro wrestlers (!) bring this up to date, but it's all on the level of a TV disaster movie; even the PG-13 rating is a bit too harsh. 92m/C VHS . Steve Railsback, Dee Wallace Stone, Joseph Bologna, Woody Brown, Bill Daily, Brock Peters, Richard Lynch, Holly Gagnier; D: Jon Hess; W: Curt Allen; C: Joseph Mangine.
