Electress of Bavaria . Name variations: Maria Antonieta or Antoinette. Born in 1669; died in 1692; daughter of Leopold I, Holy Roman emperor (r. 1658–1705), and Margaret Theresa of Spain (1651–1673); married Maximilian II Emmanuel (1662–1726), elector of Bavaria (r. 1679–1726), in 1685; children: Joseph Ferdinand, electoral prince of Bavaria (d. 1699). Following Maria Antonia's death in 1692, Maximilian married Cunigunde Sobieska , the mother of Charles VII, Holy Roman emperor.
