Limpopo
Limpopo (Crocodile) River in s Africa. It rises in ne South Africa, in the former Transvaal province. It then flows in a great curve n, forming part of the border between South Africa and Botswana, then e as the border of South Africa and Zimbabwe, before crossing Mozambique to enter the Indian Ocean ne of Maputo. Length: c.1770km (1100mi).
