Tiridates (tĬr´Ĭdā´tēz), d. 211 BC, king of Parthia (c.248–211 BC), 2d ruler of the Arsacid dynasty (see under Arsaces). He absorbed Hyrcania and, with the ruler of Bactria, successfully resisted the attacks of Seleucus II of Syria.

Tiridates, fl. c.AD 63, king of Armenia. He was put on the throne by his brother Vologeses I, king of Parthia, and he was driven from it when the Romans under Corbulo won (AD 59) the Parthian campaign. Later he went to Rome and had his crown restored (AD 66) by Nero.
