Resurrection Man
Resurrection Man ★★ 1997 (R)
Sociopath Victor Kelly (Townsend) is in his element in 1975's Belfast when he's recruited to lead a group of Loyalist killers known as the “Resurrection Men.” The gang's violence draws the attention of journalist Ryan (Nesbitt), who makes them media stars, and local cop Ferguson (Thompson), who wants to bring them down. Soon, though, Victor's capacity for bloodshed begins to worry older hood, McLure (McGinley), who thinks they'll all be better off without Victor. Very creepy atmosphere sustained by some appalling violence. Based on the novel by McNa- mee, who also wrote the screenplay. 100m/C VHS .
