Description: State-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1970. Setting: 52-acre small town campus with easy access to Vancouver. Total enrollment: 4,209. Full-time: 2,275 students, 52% women, 48% men. Part-time: 1,934 students, 64% women, 36% men. 5% from out-of-state, 30% 25 or older. Core. Academic remediation for entering students, ESL program, services for LD students, advanced placement, accelerated degree program, self-designed majors, honors program, independent study, distance learning, summer session for credit, part-time degree program, external degree program, adult/continuing education programs, co-op programs and internships.
