Independent, comprehensive, coed. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees. Founded 1908. Setting: 98-acre suburban campus. Endowment: $337.4 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $16,238 per student. Application fee: $40. Comprehensive fee: $38,970 includes full-time tuition ($30,670), mandatory fees ($230), and college room and board ($8070). College room only: $4240.
