Description:
County-supported, 2-year, coed. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1958. Setting: 150-acre suburban campus with easy access to Washington, DC. Educational spending 2003-04: $5638 per student. Total enrollment: 12,564. 4,570 applied, 100% were admitted. Full-time: 3,352 students, 58% women, 42% men. Part-time: 9,212 students, 69% women, 31% men.
