Description:

State-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Virginia Community College System. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1967. Setting: 160-acre suburban campus with easy access to Richmond. Endowment: $2 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $2753 per student. Total enrollment: 6,054. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 27:1. Full-time: 1,428 students, 62% women, 38% men. Part-time: 4,626 students, 64% women, 36% men.
