Description:

Independent, comprehensive, coed, affiliated with Presbyterian Church in America. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees (master's degree in education only). Founded 1955. Setting: 250-acre suburban campus. Endowment: $14.8 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $5210 per student. Total enrollment: 974. Faculty: 76 (60 full-time, 16 part-time). Located 5 miles from Chattanooga, TN, and 120 miles from Atlanta, GA, Lookout Mountain is a suburban community that enjoys the cultural, recreational and social facilities of Chattanooga. The community has churches of all denominations, a library, various cultural opportunities, an aquarium, several hospitals, and health center at nearby Chattanooga. Part-time jobs are available.
