Description: Independent, 4-year, coed, affiliated with Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1840. Setting: 1,600-acre rural campus with easy access to Pittsburgh. Endowment: $46.2 million. Educational spending 2002-03: $4873 per student. Total enrollment: 900.
