Leygraf, Hans, Swedish pianist, teacher, and composer; b. Stockholm, Sept. 7, 1920. He appeared as a soloist with the Stockholm Orch. at the age of 10, and then studied at the Stockholm Cons., in Munich, and in Vienna. He acquired a fine reputation as a concert pianist, becoming particularly noted as a Mozart interpreter. In 1944 he married the Austrian pianist Margarete Stehle (b. Vienna, April 26, 1921). In 1956 he joined the faculty of the Salzburg Mozarteum. He wrote a Piano Concerto, chamber music, and piano pieces.
